Get to know me
I was born in a developing country and am now a university professor in the United States. My journey has been shaped by over 25 years dedicated to education. During these years, I earned five degrees: a high school diploma, a Bachelor’s, a Master’s, and a PhD.
Throughout this journey, I’ve experienced various educational systems across different societies. I’ve worked alongside academics, taught students, and lectured in several countries.
But does it really matter who I am?
Not at all! The purpose of this website isn’t about me—it’s about you. It’s about helping you understand your path in education and what you can achieve.
I believe it’s my responsibility to share the lessons I’ve learned from my long and complex journey—from the developing world to the developed one. The tips I share here are especially for education seekers and their guardians from developing countries, like my homeland. I hope they serve as a guide to navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with pursuing education.
